What is beauty to you ?

Beauty! Indeed a big word for women and girls. we often hear it in conversations , on digital platforms and regard ourselves as one if we are in a good mood. But what it actually is ? the word on which the whole cosmetic industry stands ..what exactly it is ? every woman or girl would have different answer for that. To some it might mean getting ready, putting on the best dress and blush and then appreciating one's self in the mirror. For others it might mean to be called one rather than being one maybe their source of beauty is validation. There would be gazillion of definitions regarding beauty. Though it might clearly be different than what we are comprehending. Looking Beautiful and Being called one is not beauty , beauty is much more than that and if women ever started endorsing that cosmetic industry will be the first one to collapse. I still remember when I was kid, at that time there was an obsession with fair skin. There would be ads regarding fairness creams that openly told you how within a weak you can be fair and beautiful because your beauty relies on your skin colour and among that only fair is fair. And once I washed my face at least 10 times with soap to get brighter version of my skin. This flawed definition of beauty is deeply engraved in our society that tells us that fair skin, big eyes, sharp nose and medium height and Micheline chef cooking skills are what makes you beautiful. Though if you are something other than that , try changing yourself. I have seen women damaging their skins just because they wanted to look fair as it is attractive. However, beauty is above all that, it is not about some mould in which you must fit yourself or you are doomed rather it is about accepting who you really are. You can be of any colour but what you must do to be beautiful is to accept yourself as you are. Outside the bounds of faces and colours also lies a soul that should be nourished. You could be the most beautiful creature in the world but if you cannot offer someone a shoulder when they need you, you are just looking beautiful but you are yet to turn into beauty. You must know that you have to be kind and be a hope for others and if you can get a chance make life a little easier for a moment. Leave an Impact a mark that can never be erased and can always be felt. so after years when they recall who you are , it brings them joy. The joy of knowing you because you were beauty to behold. Something that can never be forgotten as it was not for the eyes but for the souls.

Human beings are capable of being more and they should be more. They are more than appearances , they are bigger than that and they should act like that.
