What You Seek, You Find: My Story of Seeing, Believing, and Becoming

Today, I had the joy of being part of the very first session of See • Believe • Become, an initiative with Global Shapers. The room was filled with young girls—each carrying their own stories, fun facts, quirks, and most importantly, their dreams. We began with an icebreaker, and as each of them spoke, I felt the room transform into a safe space of trust, laughter, and hope.

When it was time to share our reflections, I spoke about how See • Believe • Become has shaped me in my own journey. For me, See means looking back at my past—not to dwell on regrets, but to recognize the efforts I’ve made, the opportunities I’ve missed, and the lessons I’ve learned. Believe is about trusting myself in the present moment, because no one else knows me the way I do. I know my strengths and weaknesses, I know the battles I’ve fought quietly, and I know the persistence that has brought me here. Become is the vision I carry for the future—today it may be one dream, but tomorrow it may grow into something bigger, because growth never stops.

As I shared this, I realized something profound: I wasn’t just talking to the girls, I was reminding myself. It was like giving myself a gentle tap on the back to keep moving forward, no matter how uncertain the path may seem.

This experience reminded me that See • Believe • Become is not a destination—it’s a process, a tool that helps us turn reflection into trust, and trust into action. Watching the girls light up with their dreams, I felt inspired all over again.

I left the session feeling grateful—grateful to the girls for their openness, grateful to my fellow Global Shapers for creating this space, and grateful for the discovery of a “newer me” in the process.

At the end of the day, I hold onto one truth: what you seek, you find. And with every step, I feel like I am finding more of myself.
