When my heart missed a beat



It was sadness and confusion on the expressionless face of a loving mother 



My heart missed a beat. I shared her pain. I was no longer a journalist. I looked at a fellow mother tell the story of her seven year old son who relapsed with luekemia because she didn't have the finances to continue the chemotherapy.



"I only hawk used clothing and I have four other children to feed. Life has not been easy. I only pray my son gets healed," she said.
