When woman rises

I Know What It’s Like”

I know what it’s like to feel invisible.

To have dreams that feel too big for the space you’re given.

To wonder if your voice will ever matter.

I’ve been there.

Growing up in my community, I saw too many women believe they were “not enough.” They carried the weight of families, hardship, and silence — all while hiding their own hopes. I refused to accept that this was all life could be.

One day, I met a young mother who had given up on her dreams. She told me, “People like me don’t change the world.” I looked her in the eyes and said, “You already have — you’re raising the next generation. Now let’s raise your dreams too.”

We started small — with handmade crafts. Slowly, her confidence grew. Today, she earns her own income, mentors other women, and walks with her head held high.

Her story reminds me why I’m here: to help women rediscover their worth, find their voice, and take up space in a world that needs them.

Because when one woman rises, we all rise.
