Why Always Women? Marriage as an Exchange of... family member

Few years back, I watched a very beautiful young girl from Ethiopia was called to Somalia.

Her only brother immigrate to Somalia and he was going to pass to Arab World...boat trip to Yemen and...on.

On this kind of dangerous immigration, most of the immigrants are bitten severely, raped or their body parts get cut and sold to the doctors in middle east.

The brother of the girl I saw on ETV, fought for his rights phisically, in the middle of the fight, he killed a Somalian guy. He was arrested and jailed. Later he was at the court.

The judges decision was amazingly interesting.

According to our law, said the judge: " The sister of the killer should come to Somalia and marry one of the men...from

(the person who got killed ) your relatives." Session adjourned!!! BUM BUM...

Is not that scary?

What kind of marriage is this?

The tall, slim and pretty girl was shocked to hear the news in Ethiopia. Or else, her only brother was going to be killed.

I really pity the Somali girls for the tradition they have. All traditions are attacking or targeting women. I can boldly say it.

The Ethiopian girl...report this to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The killing ...changed in to paying money to the guy's families

( who died...).

The money was...Millions of Ethiopian Birr.

The girl was poor and their parents were died, again she had to go and marry the guy.

She didn't want to go to Somalia,but wanted her brother back alive.

Teddy Afro...Ethiopian famous singer heard the story and paid the money and saved her brother's life and her life from getting married in Somalia.

Why is tradition, religion,...every situation attacking women?

I just don't get it.
