Why I Chose AI Certification as a Feminist Writer

I’ve always believed that words can change the world. As a feminist writer living in a fast-paced city, I’ve used storytelling to challenge systems, spark reflection, and amplify women’s voices. But lately, I’ve realized that stories don’t live in isolation anymore — they live inside algorithms, platforms, and digital tools that shape what we see, share, and believe.

That’s why I decided to get certified in AI literacy.

At first, it felt like stepping into a completely different world. But the more I learned, the more I understood: AI isn’t just about machines — it’s about power. Who controls the narrative? Whose voice gets erased or amplified? Who benefits when decisions are automated — and who gets left behind?

As a feminist, these questions matter deeply to me. I didn’t want to just use technology — I wanted to understand it. To question it. To write from a place of informed awareness.

This certification gave me new tools to ask better questions. It sharpened my advocacy, deepened my writing, and connected me to global conversations about justice in the digital age. On platforms like World Pulse, where voice and visibility are central, I feel even more committed to sharing stories that are both heartfelt and critically informed.

Because in this era, being a feminist means not only raising your voice — but also understanding the systems that shape whose voices are heard.
