WHY IS CANCER ON THE RISE IN AFRICA ! THE UNTOLD story

Is it only me or you guys too see the rise in cancer diagnosis in Africa is it because of the modern food we eat or the new life style we just adopted . its starting to concern me because even babies are now being born with cancer .what is going on . in my community 2 in every 10 homes there people with cancer and its either breast cancer , cervical cancer or throat...! cancer is an emerging health problem in Africa that needs to be addressed it has been suggested that by 2030 there will be a 70 % increase in new caner cases due to population growth and aging . in Africa this ever present disease has coexisted with more recently discovered communicable diseases such as Ebola, HIV/AID. tuberculosis and malaria , covid 19, monkey pox. even though cancer death rates have surpassed those of HIV/AIDS there re main a lack of commitment to fight cancer in Africa most attention goes to investigating communicable sickness while disregarding the challenges posed by several non - communicable sickness such as cancer. due to the coast of care and absence of facilities cancer mortality rate are expanding in Africa , globally death rate from cancer in Africa is estimated to be at 30% and in 2030 its going to be worse . as we know Africa has been growing faster than global average and is now through to be about 60 years continent wide . change in lifestyle are associated with increase cancer risks and exposure to carcinogens and mutagens that include increase and change in tobacco and alcohol usage , diet change towards meat, sugar and processed food ,environment and other westerner lifestyle most of us have adopted. when health risk declines cancer rate will become more apparent and take a relative larger toll on life . i have also realized that cancer increase based on population example in my community we have the population growth and most people live under poverty level with no proper meal ,no healthy living environment again they go to work in gold mining quarries with no protective gears they use their own hands few months into doing that deaths are being reported . those working in factories that bake bread and cakes too suffer from the extreme heat from those modern oven years of working there you start hearing stories about unusual skin conditions that turn into cancer hair loss from the oven heat health issues .example there was this lady she used to cook chapattis she did it for over 20 years but in the end she got cancer from the heat and she died two years later.. she could not afford the cancer treatment the pain was too much and this is what i see this days in my community cancer pain .sickle cell is inherited and its cancer of the blood its also in the rise likelihood of parents getting children with sickle cell disease is 25% if both parents are carriers of HbAS. hemoglobin plays the role of transporting oxygen in he blood to the body tissues where it is required its estimated that 4,000 children in Kenya are born with sickle cell to me this are numbers that have come forward I bet the number is bigger for those who cant afford the treatment they end up dying at home many go unnoticed I was thinking it is time to create awareness about this adults who are in love and want to start a family should go through series of test so they don't have to bring sick children to the world its always good to be safe than sorry. our surrounding's are not spared we live with toxic in our houses , we breath toxic .I had a neighbor she had a new born the mother used to warm baby food in microwave that was the start of her mystery the baby was always sick the day she decided to dump the microwave use the old cooking pot for the baby got well , since then I also stopped using the microwave that scared the hell out of me .our bodies have a way of telling us things are not ok and our skin will show us . this days I have taken personal to see what I eat this days I walk on the store isle I see cancer on shelves I also realized that vegetables are always hidden on the back .ever since I stopped eating processed food my health has really improved I rarely get sick. my skin is glowing .looking around me I see why cancer is taking over our lives we eat too much sugar and starch , we hate fruits and vegetables most people like pop drinks , ice creams, red meat ,alcohol, I had a chat with a friend about me not remembering the last time I had a fizzy drink he literally laughed at me and asked me if i live in this planet lol that was not funny but funny at the same time .we are the reason cancer is taking over our lives we eat bad food , poverty too is a leading cause too i just found out that most people living in law income earning community use second hand cooking oil and this cause cancer to them and their families but because they have nothing to cook with they will continue eating that contaminated oil , sugar , maize flour , wheat flour to live and also get sick along the way they say they that ' they live everyday but die once '' cancer will continue spreading in rural community it is no longer a rich man disease it affect both the have and have not's the difference is the haves will afford treatment but the have not will die in a period of short time leaving children orphans and families in agony of loosing a love once who will never come back
