Why one should share their story

Being a young woman from a marginalized community, I believe, talking about how you feel and sharing your story gives you a way to make your voice heard. People from all over the world, specially women have gaced discrimination in one way or another, be it in the form of employment, caste, creed, religion, sexuality, language, race, facial features etc. So, the best way to raise awareness and stop it, is to let other people know about the issue and find a solution to it.

If a certain group of women are facing an issue or have faced something traumatic, it's important to raise their voice and let others know, so that some other girl, in any corner of the world, may not have to face that issue. It's very likely that when people are aware about a certain problem, they would find ways for it's solution.

Every voice matters.
