story

Syria’s civil war is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Half the country’s pre-war population — more than 11 million people — have been killed or forced to flee their homes. You can imagine 5 years of war, death, hunger and lack ofminimum life facilities. Families are struggling to survive inside Syria, or make a new home in neighboring countries. Others are risking their lives on the way to Europe and other countries hoping to find acceptance and opportunity.
Do you know how many of them died? How many of them lost or became victims tohuman organs theft gangs by crossing borders on foot? Social media, TV channels and radio stations cover the news minute by minute.
Alarm bells been recently rang in all over the worlds trying to solve the crisis, but that does not mean to just stop fighting but also compensation for years of oppression, humiliation and displacement. A bigexample was the 2016 support of Syria conference in Londonto collect about $ 9 billion to helpSyrian people.
Unfortunately there were only 3 Syriansrepresenting us, including Dr. Ruba Muheisen who said loudly "Thank you for your efforts, we need you to speak to us not about us or on behalf of us (A linkto the word of Dr. Ruba included in this article). Money is not what we need, although it is necessary, but firstly, we will appreciate that all sanctions and embargos imposed on us be lifted all types of international sanctions and embargos imposed against us, especially sanctions preventing us to travel abroad , (To Some Arab countries, USA, EU...).Let us use modern technology, in communication and Information technology . Help us to participate in sustainable rehabilitation and skills building programs like using social and digital media, attending online training courses.
I can speak about my own experience .I have been accepted to attend a Global Ambassadors program in London with Vital Voices for MENA region and north Europe to bring women from all over the world for developing and growing businesses .I was refused UK VISA twice because of my Nationality pretending that I’ll be stuck in their country and will not come back to Syria. (A copy of the refusal letter is included ).I think it could be a valuable source and link to what is happening nowadays in my country.
It is a reality no one can deny, that the future of Syria belong to Syrians and we must be involved in each issue that affect us .We deserve better lives.
I hope that everyone who read this article will sign the –End sanction against Syrian people petition.(http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/end-sanctions-against-syrian-people).
I believe like most Syrians that the crisis will end soon and peace will replace it.At this time we must be not only preparred but also supported with skills and education.
