Why we must Build Boldly for Her

If we can empower our girls accordingly,we will be stabilizing generations and saving them from inheriting destructive chaos

Peace is not a destination; it is a muscle that requires constant training to stand strong. While the world tends to reward the loudest shout, I have learned that peace is the quiet, radical act of choosing dialogue over aggression. You do not have to "drag" someone or cause a scene simply because you can afford to prove a point; doing so only deprives peace in the places it is needed most. To attain peace, one must be consistent and grounded, pursuing it with undeterred courage.

I have seen women pursue peace in the places that hurt them most. They choose to sacrifice not for a lack of options, but because they know their alternatives would harm the ones they love. That is true courage—choosing to negotiate for peace even in the most uncomfortable situations. Whenever possible, we must seek solutions through dialogue, because more chaos only adds to the damage already done.

To the startups and organizations empowering women through education, skills, and the sharpening of talents: you are iconic. You are not only shaping the future but restoring a sense of worth to our girls. You cannot always touch millions at once, but growth starts with every single life that regains its power. The ability to better the lives of women is within us. If we stand firm and support organizations that foster the changes we advocate for, we all win together. Let us be defined by our gender and divided by nothing—not race, not status, and certainly not circumstance. This is the only way to achieve a world where women thrive in all fields.

My heart bled recently when I saw young girls lining up at night for "odd work." I was left with questions I didn't ask, but my thoughts remained stuck on one thing: What if they had a skill? What if they were empowered to pursue their talents? Perhaps then, they wouldn't be on the streets pursuing survival as if their lives depended on it. These girls were in their early twenties—the ripe age to set goals and build a structure for their futures. If we remain silent, the damage grows and creates even more work for those of us building solutions. We need to act fast.

If organizations can digitalize their work, we can reach a larger number of girls with the information they need to change their paths. They need to learn that failure is not the end, but the start of something new—if they choose to use challenges as motivation. It is saddening that they feel forced to ignore the risks of the streets:deaths, disease, abduction, and the "inner peace" that dies a little more each day just to survive.

To build a world where everyone can flourish, we must move beyond the "soft ideal" of peace. We must treat it as a hard strategy—one that starts with a single act of kindness and scales through collective accountability. Peace is the story we choose to tell today so that our daughters can live in harmony tomorrow. It is the choice to address chaos before its roots grow deep. We must teach our girls that peace starts with protecting their dignity. The world can be unkind; it will judge them brutally for compromises made in desperation, and those scars will bleed again even in the healing phase.

We must stand up for our gender like our lives depend on it. We must push harder and save our own, because our togetherness is what will define us. If you are building for women, build boldly. Know that many lives depend on it and many stories will be rewritten because of you. Dream bold and move with courage—your purpose will define generations to come.
