Woman I am

I am highly qualified, I am paid less
I am outspoken, I am stiffened
You assume I am unable to negotiate
I am raped, mutilated, and breast ironed
Unappreciated, underestimated, untapped.

How could one biological organ
Start a war of depression and deceit
How could A VAGINA!
Yes, the VAGINA!
Set boundaries
Set limits
Why should I be sort different?
It was no choice of mine.

Am I not capable of skills?
Of great dexterity, to build and break
Am I not leader enough?
To shape and mold my world
Are not my skills far beyond the kitchen
The bedroom, the house at large?

Never underestimate the power of my pen
The power of my voice
The worth of my thoughts
It brings freedom to souls and awakens the cold hearts of men.

A vagina is an organ given at birth
But woman is what I am
So
Educate me and I will lead
I will feed a village
I will change lives
Because I found Pulse
The heart beat that will pump my voice through out
The world, not only for me but for her.
