Yesterday I was helpless Marginalized by stereotyped norms Decisions were taken on my behalf I was a hidden persona My concerns remained unvoiced. Yesterday and Today I learnt to listen Exposed to a new social balance A world where I could speak for myself I became heard and visible My vision was comprehended. Today I am boundless Liberated and unlimited in my thinking and expression Now I speak for myself and all that I care about I have found a new sense of balance My priorities were noticed. Today I arise Speaking out and standing up for what I believe Now I am active and creating ripples of change I am a bubbly change maker My dream has unfolded. Tomorrow I will stand out Among others liberated and empowered Then we will stand together in solidarity We will bask in the ecstasy of our new found power The influence of our unleashed VOICES.
