Wombs Of Promise - is a non Profit organization that supports women undergoing treatment for fibroids and women who are coping with early menopause as a result of hysterectomies.

Fibroids and Menopause have an debilitating effect on the quality of life of various women with unpleasant effects on emotional social functioning.

Mission Statement

To provide information to the public about the diagnosis of and treatment options for uterine fibroids and early menopause.

To promote alternatives to hysterectomy in an attempt to thereby lessen the numbers of needless hysterectomies perform on women with gynecological problems each year in the Bahamas and other third world countries.

To provide support to women coping with early menopause as a result of hysterectomies.

To work towards the eradication of Fibroids.

To raise money for research and surveys through national, regional and local fundraising events.

About Me
Sixteen years ago I was diagnosed with Uterine Fibroids, that moment took me on a journey I would never forget. Since then I have dedicated my life to bringing awareness to Uterine fibroids and the debilitating effect it has on women and also educating women on finding alternatives to hysterectomy in an attempt to thereby lessen the numbers of needless hysterectomies perform on women with gynecological problems each year in the Bahamas and other third world countries. I hope to talk with women coping with these issues and hopefully provide some comfort through my organization Wombs Of Promise. Join me on this wonderful journey as I seek to preserve the gate of Life.
