WomEconomics: Every Woman Is an Economist, Every Home Is an Economy

I have always believed that empowerment begins when a woman understands the value of her own decisions. This belief gave birth to my initiative, WomEconomics — “Every woman is an economist, every home is an economy.”

The idea came to me while observing the women around me. Many women manage households, stretch limited budgets, make difficult spending choices, support their families, and plan for their children’s futures. They make economic decisions every day, yet many have never been told that what they are doing is actually economics.

I asked myself: What if women were given the knowledge to understand the economic forces behind their everyday decisions? What if a woman who manages a household budget could also understand inflation, saving, investment, opportunity cost, demand and supply?

That question became WomEconomics.

My ambition is not simply to teach economics as a subject. I want to make economic knowledge accessible, practical, and relevant to women’s everyday lives. Through educational content, community discussions, digital learning, articles, videos, and future training sessions, I want to introduce women to basic economic concepts and help them connect those concepts with their own experiences.

I envision WomEconomics as a pathway toward economic confidence and independence. A woman who understands money and economic choices can make more informed household decisions, recognize opportunities, plan better, participate confidently in financial conversations, and gradually become more economically independent.

But I also believe empowerment should multiply.

When one woman learns, she can teach another. When women understand economics, families become more financially aware. When families become aware, communities become stronger.

My dream is to build a community where women do not see economics as something distant or complicated, but as something they practice every single day.

Because every woman already makes economic decisions. WomEconomics simply gives her the knowledge, language, and confidence to recognize her power.
