Women with Wonderful Men

I must say that I am more than a little bit confused by modern women. They say that they are supportive of other women, but they seem to scorn all women who admit to having a male partner in their progress. Are only unattached women allowed to boast about their success?

I am proud to say that my husband is my best friend and is the reason I am able to do all I do with my time and other resources. We don't enjoy shopping together, except for groceries to feed our many friends, but we enjoy working toward the same goals, even when working separately.

How sad that I am seeing so many more people who refuse to consider having a life partner. There are prices to pay for lifelong commitment, but some working partnerships are worth risking everything. My husband and I enjoyed ten years of health before he became limited by illness. The next fifteen years have been spent adjusting to his abilities at the time. The memories we have made during our time together is what will sustain me as we go deeper into the valley of death.

When my baby brother died, at the age of 26, I decided to live every day as if it were my loved ones' last. I can no longer sustain that level of intensity of emotion, but I live always aware that none knows when she/he will discontinue physical presence on this earth.

I know that each person I encounter shares some life spirit with me, and I with the person encountered. My dear husband will never die because there are so many to whom he has meant much, especially to me. Meanwhile, I will continue to share his sacred spirit with others through what I write. He never reads what I write, so he won't tell me to stop. LOL!

I invite any others who want to share sacred partnerships to do so on this page. It is important that we know of these.
