WORLD PULSE @20 A TESTAMENT TO THE ENDURING STRENGTH OF WOMEN VOICES

The website was introduced to me by my late best friend Brenda who died of breast cancer back in 2023 by that time I was still going through hard time with severe depression ,anxiety and panic attack from COVID19 vaccinations .it made me hate doing things I enjoyed most like attending public events! every time I would be invited to a public event I would decline for the sake of my mental health and fear of fainting ..if you have suffer panic attack or anxiety you know what I'm talking about ..! my friend Brenda knew my fears so she decided to invite me to this even it wasn't easy to come out of the house but she insisted so I trusted her and I attend the event that changed my life forever .as she was sharing her stage 4 cancer story and experience she talked about WORLD PURLSE and she encouraged women to join the website I had a notebook so I wrote the "world pulse" down .that evening after I was done with my daily chores I google world pulse what is it all about. I had no idea that was my last public event with Brenda she died that night and her death gave me WORLD PULSLE .that was in November 11 , after reading all the rules and what is needed of me , I knew this was my forever home . I was grieving at the same time joining website with women from all over the world sharing their stories , their achievements , their impact , their first hand breakthrough. just a month after joining climate justice awareness was up world pulse needed a climate change story I happened to have one from my real-life experience growing up and thats how I got my first honorarium from world pulse then someone shared my story and my dreams of planting 50,000 trees that opened more successful ways for me i managed to attend the climate summit in Dubai , were I met many climate activists fighting for our planted it was the best event ever that saw me make new contacts , made new friend's share diverse culture with everyone from all over the world at the same time i meet someone few people that are in world pulse website we hugged and it felt so awesome to meet people you only read about their stories in the website. I will be a year old in world pulse in November 11 but for the past 11 months that i was introduced to it my confidence grew out of no where! I find myself participating in many public events as a guest speaker, as a mentor as a leader i never knew I was WORLD PULSE has given me the courage and strength to speaks to the voiceless ,to advocate for change in my community to engage my community to fight the stigma of GBV something I never used to have in me . world pulse has made me a leader in my community I managed to ask for funds from local GOVERMENT when we needed a community library and with the help of world pulse on how to write a proposal and budget imaged to get funds something I would never done if it were not for world pulse ,looking back in my life depression would have killed me !!and if it were not for my late friend Brenda introducing me to world pulse website so this has became my campaign too every time attend an event I have to encourage many young women to join world pulse and in the past several months we have so many KENYANS here i believe its my voice out there calling them to come to this beautiful family .world pulse have made me get job promotion from just participating in a research I once share here as my story on their website and before the end of the year I have 30 events with teenage girls doing their 4th year examinations with the digital world I'm planning to introduce them to WORLD PULSE network were they belong as up coming leaders !! been thinking if someone just introduced me to world pulse straight from school i would be very far a way but again I'm not complaining its never too late to achieve your dreams this young minds fresh from school not yet corrupted would really enjoy the digital training , community stories , the impact young people are doing to bring change in their community. as the website marks 20th anniversary while I'm marking 1st anniversary i can say proudly that you have changed how I think , how I do - act of kindness , how engage my community , how I shift power ,how I handle depression how I accommodate others, how to fight for others to get justice ,how to call other peoples names in room full of opportunity. lastly world pulse shared my story about the gen-z demonstration that changed my life too! some media house taped me to be their corresponded an opportunity gotten from my story shared by people who wanted to know more thank you world pulse for giving me my voice back , thank you for building the leadership skills that was dead in me, thank you for introducing me to new people who share the same passion as me they the reason I got all the budges I have on my profile in your website thank you for the old CEO and the new CEO that showed us the meaning of power shifting thank you for your professional team that make sure all the things posted on the website are accurate and up to day , transparent and easily accessible to anyone that would log in an read and enjoy the stories many members are doing to their community ,to their schools , to war torn nations , to those being discriminated for coming out gay thank you
