World Pulse  reaches Kathonzweni through a mobile phone, what a wonder!

It's the eleventh year since Gilgal Springs Foundation CBO was founded. We have been assisting vulnerable children and empowering marginalized groups of people especially girls and women.

Its until I wrote my first story on World pulse using my mobile phone than I realized that the world can be reached on phone. Most of my group members and beneficiaries have no mobile phone and the few that have are not the touch screen types.

I was amazed by the outcomes of my story on worldpulse. I received encouraging comments and my world grew bigger than what I was used to.

I thank the world Pulse for awarding me with an encourager badge. The award immediately paved way in and I was invited by the founder come together widows and orphans to be interviewed. I was privileged to be appointed as a representative in Makueni, Kajiado and Taita Taveta counties where Gilgal Springs Foundation CBO works.

I received many calls from our counties directing me to more girls who are stuck in one way or another. 

For the eleven years I have been working, I have been using my own source of funding through agriculture and bank loans until three years ago when I became ill, admitted to Hospital,Went through surgery, lost two organs, went to depression then rehabilitation and finally lost my job but I never found course to leave my service. When I was almost just giving up, I came across Word Pulse and my dreams has been revived.

Mobile technology has assisted in renewing my strength while worldpulse stands as my backbone to amplify my voice to reach all. Now women in my area are no more crying they are busy working towards smart saving, borrowing and lending to one another. Girls are smiling during mentorship program and joining school  without restrictions. Live long World Pulse you are an exception. Bravo!!.
