YOPA,FENPS MEETING



Youth Organization for the Prevention of AIDS (YOPA) and Formal Education Network for private Schools(FENPS) met at Al-towba Training Hall in Mogadishu.
The two parts exchanged their ideas about issues in 2008 and achieving their 2009 goals. Altough YOPA and FENPS are civil society organizations from the community they agreed to show effective services to the people and the job was distributed between two parts.



YOPA ROLE


YOPA was allocated to increase its campaigns against HIV/AIDS spread and educating students in FENPS affilliated schools lessons about HIV/AIDS prevention.



FENPS ROLE


FENPSwas elected to organize free of charge classes in the schools under FENPS umbrella for teaching needy people specially women and girls.



The participants of the meeting underlined the importance of teaching wonen because they recognized them as the backbone of the family. Finally the meeting concluded with hand clups and citing the MOTTO: '' Teaching only the mother is teaching whole the family''
