You Are Not Alone

From my blog "My Chains are Gone! Deliverance, healing and hope for battered women of all faiths." ...

I just want to make sure you know that I see you there. I am sorry that you have to walk on egg shells and that you are so scared all the time. It breaks my heart to see you suffer this way. This is not the life I had planned for you. I know you have been praying for a long, long time… asking me to change your spouse, your boyfriend, your fiancé. Pleading with me to bring an end to his abuse. I just want to make sure that you know that I have heard every single word. I have seen every single tear fall and I am I crying with you. But the fact that he has not changed has nothing to do with you, or me, or how hard and long you pray. It’s on him. You see, when I created mankind I gave each and everyone of my creations a free will. His refusal to change and his continued abuse is a total affront to me and is evil in my sight. It is rebellion. If anyone or anything is telling you that his behavior is okay with me, they are lying. I love you. You are the apple of my eye. You are my very favorite one. When he hurts you he hurts me. So I am wondering if maybe you would be willing to change your prayers? Instead of praying for him, I want you to pray for yourself. Will you pray that I will give you the courage to face the truth? Because I will. Will you pray that you will come to know just how much I love you? Because I will show you. Will you pray for complete healing – body, mind and soul – so that you will finally see yourself the way I see you? Because I will heal you. Will you pray for the faith to believe that I can deliver you? Because I want so badly to deliver you and I delight in answering your prayers. You can trust me. I love you. And I just wanted to make sure you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
