Young women trained in Digital Skills

I’m Keturah Shammah, a World Pulse Featured Changemaker leading an initiative that empowers young women in underserved Nigerian communities with essential digital skills.

So far, I’ve trained over 10 girls, and I’m proud to share that one of them was selected for a fully funded one-week fellowship, where she received her own laptop — a game-changer for her digital journey.

Now, we're scaling this impact by training 50 girls aged 15 to 25 in digital literacy, website and graphic design, online safety, and social media marketing for business. With mentorship and peer learning, we’re not just teaching tools — we’re building confidence and digital entrepreneurs.

Within 12 months of the initiative, we expect 30 girls build websites or portfolios, and 20 will launch online businesses.

We’re changing stories — one girl, one skill at a time.
