Speak up

Dear Friend,

I know how it feels to wonder if your voice matters.

For years, I thought my story wasn’t “important enough.” "Who would care about my ordinary life?"

I told myself others’ voices were louder, more urgent. So I stayed quiet, believing my words couldn’t make a ripple.

At first, I only read stories—women from places I’d never seen, sharing struggles and triumphs I recognized in my bones. Their courage felt like a nudge;"What if I tried?

So I started small. I wrote a few sentences about a moment that changed me" letter to my Younger Self". My hands shook as I hit “post.”

But then, They replied, commented, Messaged. I was encouraged, They thanked me. They asked for more.

I realized my story wasn’t just mine, it was a lantern for someone else’s path.

Maybe you’re thinking...

"I’m not a writer.”(You don’t need to be!)

"My life isn’t dramatic.”(Your truth is enough.)

“What if no one cares?” (We will.)

Your story doesn’t need polish, length, or grandeur.

It just needs YOU.

That quiet moment of pain, The joy you’re afraid to name? The lesson that took years to learn? That’s where connection begins.

World Pulse isn’t about “adding your voice to the noise.” It’s a circle where women Listen. Where your words become a bridge for someone feeling alone.

You don’t have to write a novel. Start with one paragraph. One memory. One hope. We’ll be here, ready to say, “We see you. Keep going.”

With warmth,

Bolutife Asake

(A woman who once doubted, too)
