“It's not bullshit, but I'd like to address a common rebuttal I see here: "tHeY'Re nOt tHe sAmE!"
One, Just because one has two drops of aloe vera in it doesn't turn it into a Porsche vs. Pinto scenario. Perhaps...just perhaps they put frou frou shit in the women's version in order to justify a higher price.
Two, take the Pepsi fuckin challenge for a couple weeks and tell us if it's really, truly different.”
”Or, hear me out... maybe the women who are complaining about it should take the Pepsi challenge, buy the cheaper alternative, and if it is the same they can save money!”
This shit just makes me fucking mad, y’all. Like these “for men” macho horseshit they call commercials are nothing but “men rule, women drool” agendas. They go around bragging how men’s products are less expensive and how they’re much better than women’s because our products are girly and apparently men hate smelling like women.
My god, it’s “eww girl cooties” all over again!
As women, you can never win. You either let men use you as a doormat all while they’re talking shit about the female sex as a whole, or you dare to empower yourself on behalf of all women only for a bunch of man babies to throw a fit how the “girls rule, boys drool” promotion “hurts boys and men”.
In short, fuck these men. You’re not a man, so why should you have to put up with sexist bullshit that caters to a “man’s world”? This is why we have women-only spaces and had to fight to achieve them!
Don’t let men and boys intimidate you because of what you are! Let them just dwell in their own insecurities while you keep thriving!
