A journey of Courage, Hope, and Change!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reflecting deeply on my journey and the steps I’ve taken to address gender-based violence in Pakistan. Alhamdulillah, I’m incredibly grateful to Allah for giving me the strength and clarity to embark on this path. What began as a spark of urgency, inspired by witnessing the struggles of women like my friend Meher, is now evolving into something I hope will create real, lasting impact.

I’ve officially taken the first step by launching my initiative, which focuses on raising awareness, supporting survivors, and challenging harmful societal norms. It hasn’t been easy to break through the silence that surrounds this issue, but every conversation, every small step, feels like a victory in itself.

One of the most powerful realizations I’ve had during this journey is how much strength we draw from one another. Whether it’s through shared stories, community support, or simply acknowledging that the problem exists, we are slowly dismantling the barriers that keep women in silence. By seeing this, many girls around me have found the courage to stand up for their rights—a testament to how change begins when we break the silence.

I’m working to create safe spaces where women can share their experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we’re aiming to rewrite the narrative—to empower women, challenge outdated traditions, and break the cycle of violence and discrimination.

This is just the beginning, and I’m deeply humbled by the support and encouragement I’ve already received from those around me. I know this road will be long and filled with challenges, but I also know that change is possible when we stand united.
